How Skill3 uses profile data during matching.

What we collect

• Account details such as name, email, user id and referral code
• Education choices, graduation year, preferences and self-selected strengths
• Optional CV file, CV-derived role and skill signals, LinkedIn URL, experience text, volunteer work, hobbies and assessment answers
• Generated outputs such as skill vectors, role matches, fit score, confidence and job recommendations
• Product analytics events used to understand whether the pilot works

Why we use it

We process the data to provide the service itself: create your profile, match you against role clusters, explain the reasoning, improve recommendation quality and help you edit or correct the result. Optional inputs such as CV uploads, hobbies, volunteer work and assessment answers can enrich the explanation, but the product can still be used without filling every field. CV files are kept in private storage while your account remains active in the pilot, unless you delete your account or request deletion. The database stores the CV file path and derived matching outputs such as extracted role, skill and evidence signals.
